We didn't get syncro mk3's in the united states.. although we do often take for granted how many vr6 cars we have.
Interesting observation. I myself did not realize this until I visited Europe and noticed the vast majority of Mk3's were 1.4 and 1.6 equipped cars. Just take a look at what a Mk3 1.4 engine looks like and that would be enough for those with an ABA 2.0 or even the Canadian 1.8 8valve guys to go outside this very moment and hug their car.
I found a 1996 Golf Syncro here the US. I will be using it to build a 1998 Cabrio VR6 turbo syncro. Here's pics of the syncro and my first Cabrio build. Thanks for sharing your ideas.
That cabby looks great! I want to upgrade my cars running gear and breaks to the VR6 syncro's, and also want to do som modifications to the engine
Soma cabby parts are needed by me (black sunvisors, dimple dash with red lighted switches etc...)
