Update for the non-locals: The two Jetta guys turned themselves in and were to appear in court today. The victim, ironically enough, has a court appearance today as well, for a road-rage battery charge (along with a DUI) from a previous incident .

Three men, including the apparent victim in an attack first seen on YouTube that garnered much media attention, are expected to appear in court on Friday.

The apparent victim of the June 12 on the side of the Golden State Freeway is expected to appear in a Long Beach courtroom in an earlier road-rage case involving DUI and battery charges.

Jerry Patterson, 49, was arrested Thursday on a $50,000 warrant issued in Long Beach on June 6. He was wanted in connection with a hit-and-run collision May 25 at Corona Avenue and The Toledo in Long Beach.

He faces driving under the influence, hit and run and battery charges in connection with a May 25 case in which a man claims Patterson attacked him in a road-rage confrontation, police said.

Patterson made headlines after he was seen in a YouTube video fighting with two other men. In that video, Patterson was thrown to the ground and kicked in the head. Patterson told NBC4 that he suffered a concussion as a result of the incident that was sparked after he accidentally cut off the other vehicle.

Two other men, Edras Ramirez, 27, and David Mendez, 21, turned themselves into police and are expected in court in the June 12 case on Friday.

FWIW...I actually attended Wicked Big Meet and it was probably the tackiest show ive been to. they are all following trends the euro car scene was doing 3-4 years ago and you guys think the VW guys are "hipsters" with cut-and-paste cars.

Well regardless I don't follow any sort of car scene. I just like cars, I like motorsport, I like driving, and I aspire to one day own a dedicated track toy. I was just calling you out because as far as I know VW scenesters wear flat brims as much as or more than Subaru scenesters. Maybe I don't know enough? I don't know. Like I said, I don't concern myself with car scenes, or really care what they do. I was just kind of trying to troll you / make a joke.
