He said he was in Libya until mid-May, with little Internet access... his latest post was on 20th May. Let's hope all is well.

    Cheers,
    Chris

I presume Libyan Phaetons all still have a machine gun mount sticking out of the sunroof and katyusha rockets strapped to their backs.

    Hi Everyone:

I am still well (thanks for the concern), but have been absolutely buried with work (delivering aircraft and putting them into service) - I have only been home for 6 days this year, and have not driven my car since May.

Once I get home and settle down, I'll try to catch up. But I don't know when that will be. I am in Switzerland at the moment, have to deliver a plane to Turkey tomorrow, then to Australia via Alaska, Russia, Asia the week after that.

Is it the only being home for 6 days that's rough or is that he hasn't been abe to drive his beloved W12 Phaeton since May? For me, it might be the latter.

    Hi Everyone:

I finally got some time off work - I'm riding my motorcycle around the south of France right now.

If it's a rainy day, I'll spend some time trying to re-host photos. It will take me a while to catch up on everything that has happened in the last 4 months, though.

    Best regards to all,

    Michael

It seemed so empty without you - to paraphrase a well known singer...!

We've tried to keep the place tidy.

Great to hear you are well and working hard

Drop Steven (Expoman) an IM he's on the way up to La Rochelle from Bordeaux, a nice ride and you can stop off in Cognac for refreshments!

    Hi Steven:

Thanks for the very kind invite!

I am in Nice right now, and was planning to spend most of my time touring the Languedoc-Roussillon region. I don't have a lot of time off - I have to be in Cairns, Australia on the 17th, and this means departing Zurich (where I keep the moto) sometime around perhaps the 13th.

But... if my plans change (and I can always count on my employer to change my plans ), I will come by La Rochelle and see you.

    Hi Michael,

We were down there in May, you have also selected a good time, now that the schools are back.

Give us a shout if you are in the vicinity, it would be great to meet you.

    Cheers,
    Steven

    Hi Steven:

Please send me a private message or an email with your contact details, just in case I get a last-minute opportunity to come by your way. There is a slight chance I might have to travel to Bordeaux on business.

    Thanks,

    Michael
