I'm selling my 2007 VW Rabbit 2-door with automatic transmission. I am the second owner of the vehicle. The car has just under 47,000 miles on the odometer and comes with the following factory options: textile and rubber floor mats, iPod integration, and 6-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission (with ability to manually select gears). I'm want $9,900 for the car.
I invested over $6,000 in aftermarket and OEM Volkswagen modifications parts in the vehicle. All parts were installed by professionally trained and certified VW mechanics, and all scheduled maintenance has been performed as well. Only the best parts, which either meet or exceed factory specifications, were used. The car has been lowered by about 1.3'' using Eibach Pro-KIt springs and adjustable Koni Sport shocks and struts. Besides, the engine has been chipped with APR stage 1 performance software and supporting modifications (short ram air intake and cat-back exhaust) were performed. The vehicle is running on OEM VW GTI 17' wheels with extreme performance summer tires. I will also include a second set of OEM VW wheels with like new winter tires. Furthermore, I have made numerous cosmetic enhancements to the vehicle, including tinted windows, R32 taillights, projector headlights, and OEM GTI side skirts, to name just a few.
The reason why this car is priced significantly lower than other comparable Rabbits is that it has a rebuilt salvage title. The car was involved in a front-end collision in 2008. No frame, suspension, or engine damage occurred and none of the eight airbags deployed. I bought the car from a local company which specializes in the professional repair of salvage-titled vehicles. Only OEM parts were used.
The car is in excellent condition, and I have never had a single problem with it since I bought it in 2009. I have pampered the vehicle, hand-washing it at least twice per month and always warming up the engine properly. This is a great, safe, reliable, and very fun car. It will easily get between upper 20s to lower 30s mpg on the highway and blast from 0-60 in less than 7 seconds when needed.
If you're interested in the car, please pm me and we can schedule an appointment. The car is located in Asheville, NC.
