If you don't want to be photographed, don't go into public. Are you going to physically assault the police chief for being captured on surveillance cams? I guarantee you have been photographed dozens of times today if you've done so much as leave your house.
If you assault a photographer in public, I assure you, you will be the one leaving with your rights revoked.
Taking sneaky pictures of girls without their permission is creepy. And we as a community will let those mouth breathers know they're creepy. No need for violence or broken cameras just point and laugh.
As for people saying "public is public" I absolutely agree. But remember, that wont always save you from people seeing you as the enemy. I know a few people who take photos for the AP and they're not always greeted very friendly by people out in "public"
