Glad you got white. It's a little less ''boy-racer'' than the black or red.

I got my Abarth about a week ago, haven't had much time to post about it because its been a fairly busy week. So far its been a ton of fun to drive, and it does decent on fairly long highway trips (El Paso to Santa Fe. Ordered it about a month and a half ago and it came in fairly quick. The seats are comfortable and the engine is much better than the one in the regular 500. I didn't care too much for the graphics or the leather seats, so i opted for the cloth seats.
I so far don't have any complaints on this car, its decent on gas and the insurance is pretty cheap , i'm actually paying less per month than i was on my 500 sport in insurance. So i hope TCL enjoys! The cars in the garage aren't mine and are my friends, i dont have any other pictures of em sorry.

Congrats! Great looking car, but the wheel center caps are a bit much.
"Of course that's just my opinion; I could be wrong."

Congrats, like the white but not a fan of the OEM wheels. I know silly but can you hear the turbo on this car? I heard the stock exhaust sounds pretty good too.
#7
Thanks all, yea i can hear the turbo in the cabin of the car but tis not too loud, im not so sure about outside of the car though.

yea i didnt ask to many questions about the insurance thing but they told me my payment went down. I no longer have the sport, it was traded for this.

I love this car. A friend of mine got a black one a few weeks ago and he has already had it chipped. I've been promised a drive and can't wait.
#12
a great little car, i was looking at this car as well. the mpg just didn't do it for me at 82 miles per day 6 days a week.![]()

Looks fantastic. If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay?
#15
Nope i dont mind at all after taxes titling and what not i paid 25k

That looks like it would be a riot on the auto-x course.![]()

Ive never autocrossed but i would like to try it out and see how it goes.

Most likely cost. Fiat probably didn't want to homologate two different types of headlights for the DOT and other agencies.
I understand there is a aftermarket kit just made for the 500. Just plug and play. And since the stock housing is a projector, glare shouldn't be an issue.

I don't know, but will find out when I see him again. I'm pretty sure it was local here in Houston though. Before he picked it up he was talking about having the exhaust done on it as well, but I don't know if what I heard was stock or aftermarket. Sounded pretty damn good.

Congrats on the pickup, looks great!
I really like the Abarth and stumbled upon this video in case you wanted to poison your car with Venom:
The Venom owes its lightweight and power enhancements to Magneti Marelli, Fiat’s own part supplier, similar to Mopar for Chrysler in America. Magneti Marelli’s contributions to the Abarth Venom are extensive.
First, they reduced the weight of the car by approximately 200 pounds. They accomplished this feat by incorporating carbon fiber throughout the car and using new lightweight wheels in favor of the standard wheels. In the interior, the dashboard trim and seatbacks are made from the lightweight carbon fiber. On the exterior, the hood, fascia elements, and splitter are constructed of a more durable version of carbon fiber.
On the performance side, Mopar and Marelli managed to increase the Abarth’s horsepower by 25-percent, upping it from 160 to 200 HP. They accomplished this by adding an electronic boost controller and installing a dual-mode exhaust system that is reminiscent of the Record Monza system commonly seen in special edition Abarths like the Maserati and Ferrari Tributo.

I also think 16" wheels are the way to go for this chassis.
At fuelly, people are averaging 31 mpg - which is exactly the EPA value. EPA highway is 34 mpg, but you can probably do better than that at a steady 65mph. I think that is quite reasonable for a sporty car like this. What are you looking for?

Finally got to hear one of these the other day and I kinda liked it.

I absolutely love the Fiat 500. My neighbor has the non-Abarth version and with an automatic transmission, the automatic is kind of awkward, but nonetheless, the car is good to drive and I love the looks as well.

Nice car! Last autocross I went to the local Abarth owners' club was there and they all looked like they had a good time....those cars have a nice sounding exhaust from factory too..![]()

Sweet ride. I have a big crush on these cars. Just wish they had telescoping steering wheel. Damn Italians and their short legs/long arms!
#32
Nice, congrats! They're growing on me though I know very little about them. I love small sporty cars so anything to further the segment is okay with me. Saw my first one in person a couple days ago pulled over on the highway by a statey. Guess that must mean they get up and go pretty good!![]()

Hard to find an uglier car.
If it makes OP happy, than that cool.
I will say it looks better in white but still 1/100 or so.
