Thread: How to fix scratch on the plastic bumper?

  1. 06-25-2012 09:25 AM #1
    Good Morning,

Over the weekend, The Wife's tiggy was scratched up. The plastic (non painted Portion), was wondering if anyone on the board knows how to fix this up?

    Thanks

Try the body work section in the technical forums . Most likely will have to plastic weld more material and then sand back into shape

Mine got scuffed up the other day, too... damn parallel parking! Was thinking of getting one of those clip-on bumper protectors, like the Bumper Bully

It will be difficult at best to fix it and retain the grain. You can try sanding or filling and sanding, depending on how bad it is. How deep are the scratches?
