It's disgusting loud... and I love it.
It rumbles and growls on idle... and lets loose when pushed.
It turns heads that's for sure.

Current problem is drone around 1.5 - 2k. (which apparently is normal for Borla)
It drives my wife insane. My options are changing exhaust or go dynamat the trunk.

    I'm gonna dynamat the trunk.

Problem is if you drive slow the drone is bothersome. But once you get over 3k, you can't help not smile, scream and giver.

as you can see I love the car.

    Welcome!

I hadn't heard from incoherant in some time, and wondered what he and his car were up to.

Here's the thread detailing what it took to get the custom exhaust fitted and working: http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea....-Build-Thread...

AFAIK he took good care of his ride. Looks like you made a good choice.

    welcome,

noticed it has quad muffler tips, nice touch.

I wonder how much premium our R32s sell for up north?

If I were in CA(not cali), have family who lives in Vancouver BC, I'd get a Skyline GTR R32 not a Vdub one lol.

you'd be surprised how many people thought I bought a skyline when I said I picked up an R32.

there are a couple of R32's on trader. Definitely much cheaper to buy in the states and import.
Even after the 19.1% total taxes + shipping + god knows what else I got charged...

    It's my R now.

I'll have to my mark on it for sure. and I will

    - Stop Tech Rotors/Pads/SS Lines looks to be the first upgrade.

I'll try and get a video of the exhaust up this weekend

Were you the first CW R32 (parked out front by the road) at the Toronto UM flash day? Sorry I didn't have a chance to introduce myself, I barely had enough time to get my flash done. I was the UG R32 there @ 12.

we should plan a local R meet up sometime.

no, that wasn't mine. I believe it was the owner of the shop.

I showed up at 1:30 got caught up on 401 traffic.

yeah a local R meet up would be cool. Definietly a handful of mk4 and mk5 R's in the GTA
