You'll notice that Planes is a Disney production, not a Pixar product. Hopefully it has the heart of a Pixar flick, and isn't a crappy ripoff of Disney's prized possession.

I'm a sucker, so I'm definitely seeing it. Plus it's got Jon Cryer, who is hilarious (imho).

I remember reading on /film that this is suppose to be direct to dvd?! It looks absolutely hilarious and I also noticed its not a Pixar film. Whats really surprising is that the new movie coming out in November, Wreck-it Ralph, is also not a Pixar production, but a Disney film. Now that movie looks pee your pants excellent.

Fwiw, my 68 year old father who is a huge aviation nut can't wait to see this. He hates animated movies haha.

One of the voices is Brad Garrett. Sounds like it could be a fun movie for the grandkid.

    Cool, love CGI movies.

Must be doing a direct-to-DVD release, kinda like Chicken Little, Valiant, etc....

Aww. Jon Cryer dropped out and Dane Cook is gonna be the voice of Dusty.

    I'll still watch it though.
