that is so cute, i just purchased a white 91, it needs some front end work. the only thing we can't find is the front bumper assembly, it's like they don't exist.... anywhere!

That car has a few differences I haven't seen before.
For one, it has manual windows.
Secondly it doesn't have an air bag...
Thirdly, the knee bar isn't the usual one for 90's cabby.
This is the first 90's(digifant) cabby I've seen in the forum with manual windows and no airbag....
Other than that, it looks cool.
You're doing right to do all the catch up maintenance first!

Wellll...I'm No expert...But...I thought that the airbag (driver only) began in 1991?![]()
And... wasn't the power windows only on the 'Carat' ? No?

I thought all the extra features only came on the karmann edition. Those ones are super rare :p

my 90 from canada had no airbag or power windows but luckily my 90 from the us does

Sorry for the confusion guys, the previous owner told me it was a 1990, actually a 91. I don't know if that clears some things up.
