    88 GLI Project

    I have an 88 GLI that has been sitting for a few years. 16 valve 5 speed. I bought it to work on but just dont have time for a project rite now. I bought it from the original owner. I put a new battery in it and it wouldnt start. I drained and cleaned the fuel tank and replaced both fuel pumps also replaced the fuel distributor with a known good unit. It will start and idle but does not really rev or run well. It has power recaro seats. The driver seat is pretty beat up the other seats are in ok shape. I need to get $900 out of the car. I have more than that in it. If I cant get $900 for it I will part it out so make some offers on parts also. I have a clean title in my name.

    There is a small amount of rust at the bottom passenger side corner of the windshield. The wheel arches and strut towers are solid. There is some rust in the rear floor pans.
