      AARRGGHH!!

I guess skipping a family get together is not going to be an option-sooo I will be on a lake with family the 28th. I am very disappointed I will miss the 2nd VW "R Track Day". I absolutely loved the first day at NJMP

Anyone on the fence, just go! You can have my registration ($50 plus $20 for timing=$70) at no cost-just let me know and I'll tell TrackdazeVW

Have fun guys-see you all next time!!!

      Apparently not. Only 53 registered.

Free lunch, 3 track sessions, a couple of classroom sessions, which would normally cost well over $235 for one day; All for $50?

They need to have one in the south east. VIR is a much better track.

VIR is great, but presents a few problems with an event like this. Number 1, there are No Open Weekend Dates available at VIR.

Second is cost, if by some magic you could get a single day weekend date at VIR, an event like this there would be several times more expensive than the amazing $50.00 deal this one is!

With all of that said, don't discount Summit and Shenandoah Circuit, while not VIR... SC is challenging and a blast to drive!

Only three 25 minute sessions? Yet, its an all day event?

There could be a few reasons that VW is doing this such as. In years past there have done other driving exercises in conjunction w/ there events such as skid pad (which Shenandoah does have), coned slalom and ABS recognition. It would also not be unrealistic for this all to change the day of the event as well, been there done that .

Plus classroom sessions, plus a quiet lunch, plus time for each group to prep cars prior to each run, all of that x 4ish groups? It adds up!

Link didn't work for me. I used the single event tech inspection from your site when I had it done a few days ago... kosher?

Should be a LOT of fun.

Just a heads up for folks. Bring LOTS of fluids/snacks, etc. Typical DC/VA weather is going to be warm so you're going to want to drink TONS of fluids.

I usually stop out on Rt.7 at the Shell station before heading to the track to get fuel one last time and get snacks and drinks.
