help.....mk4 front sway bar thicker than a reg mk4 jetta/golf?

sorry didnt know where to post or ask this but, just wondering is there a difference in thickness between a mk4 front sway bar than a regular golf/jetta one? thanx guys...

Shoulda posted in the MKIV discussion forum but I can help you out. There were two sizes of sway bar available in the MKIV's and it isn't always easy to tell JUST by the type of MKIV which size you have, you'll have to measure it. They made a 21mm and 23mm, you would think that the larger one would be fit in the VR6 MKIV's along with GLI's and Wolfsburg's but this isn't ALWAYS the case.

I have an 01' VR6 Jetta GLX and it does have the larger of the two sway bars.
