    Haven't purchased any new watches lately, but I did refresh an old friend and thought I would share. My Seiko SKX007 was my daily wearer for about 4 years, but started looking a little rough. I've never cared for the shiny surfaces, either... too prone to scratch.

    So I sent it away to Jay at Motor City Watch Works, and received her back yesterday. Now it looks like a tool watch should, IMO. Props to Jay for some great work at a reasonable price.

    Sadly, I did not take any 'before' photos but the case and caseback was pretty well scratched.

    nice. i have a 009 and was thinking of doing something similar. how much did that cost if you dont mind me asking?

    MCWW pricing is on their webpage for all their services.
    The cost of my beadblasting was $62.50 including return shipping. He also blasted the tang and buckle of the dive strap

    Very nice!

    I have a ~15 year old Pulsar I am kinda fond of; may have to have it cleaned up this way as well.
