David Lynch is perfect for the role. His character with the strange office reminded me of Twin Peaks "Gordon Cole", I was expecting to see a hearing aid.

After watching that last episode I wonder if there is anything to the whole Louis CK/Letterman feud? I would imagine that Louis would have to have cleared the storyline with NBC, Seinfeld (since he appeared on the last episode) and others in order to have aired it?

Either way the pace and story line certainly have changed since the initial two seasons came about and it has lost some of its' humor in the process.

Great season finale. As I said before, I like the extra mix of drama. The first season started off with mostly comedy and a little drama. The ratio has definitely swayed making the comedy parts that much funnier.

Also, the show can really find talent. I always thought Parker Posey was sort of a forgettable novelty actress playing strange characters in the 90's. As it turns out, she's a brilliant actress. Most season finale's try to do a cliffhanger yet Louie simply made an episode so great that even without a cliffhanger most fans will be looking forward to another season. Great work.

    Louis C.K. to delay show's 4th season until 2014

    By Associated Press

New York — FX network says it's delaying the return of its hit comedy "Louie" until spring 2014.

The network said Tuesday it had granted the request by the series' Emmy-winning star, Louis C.K., for what he called "a little breathing room." Along with performing in the show, he serves as producer, writer and editor, and also created it.

"Louie" recently concluded its third season. Until the extended hiatus was announced, its return for a fourth season was expected next summer.

During a teleconference, Louis C.K. said he gets "irritated" when he's not working but that he sought a break from the show "to feel hungry" again.

But he won't be idle in the meantime. This fall, he's continuing a live standup tour.

Well we all lived through the writers strike without our favourite shows.
