Thread: mounting mk3 side skirts ?

    figured i would post this here. i have a mk3 that i want to put the factory side skirts on... just wondering how it is they mount??

    i just painted the car and dont want to drill any holes

    The main part of the skirt is held on by a strip that gets attached with double sided tape. The actual skirt pieces snap into that piece. There should be a screw size hole in the front and rear wheel well where the end caps get screwed in. Also at the bottom of the rocker panel there should be about 6 holes along it that get screws to hold the skirts in place.

    i made a few trips to home hardware, and got some stainless ones, it was mostly trial and error, as i dont have the little grommets 10 mm heads , cant remember the exact sizing srry
