I'm currently in the midst of a deal with a good buddy of mine to purchase his R32 Highsports.

Him and me both are in 100% sure they will fit a Golf/GTI. I know the spring rates are slightly different for the R simply because it's a bit heavier.

Correct me if I am wrong please. I've come across a lot of people saying they fit and a lot of people saying they do not. Which is confusing me simply because the struts and rears match almost exactly from pictures I've seen.

    Hey dude

They do fit! I believe this to be true because of how all the air struts are universal for the MK5 platform, meaning they would have to be the same size.

If anything, the spring rates are higher, because the R is heavier, meaning you can go lower, and it wont bottom out....as much. Hahaha.
Paint it black and take it back.
