So Im a bit confused. Does the extension get plugged into the tuner in the trunk? I was researching and it seems that there is one under the seat as well? Also, are there any instructions on the best way to run the cable as far as hiding them?

The golf/jetta platform has sirius module under passenger front seat. Passat chassis has to have extension cable to the rear. I would run it under the carpet along the passenger side door molding, b pillar and c pillar.

You wouldn't happen to know of any DIY's around would you?

Sorry but I dont. I just know how to do it because I have taken apart many VWs at a dealership and I think that would be the best/easiest place to run it.

You just have to run it behind the glovebox and then under the pillars/carpet to the trunk. From there, connect the other end into the tuner box and you are all set. I don't know of a DIY either but I pretty much played around with running the wire and it wasn't hard at all. Very simple.

If you have any questions, or get stuck on something, let us know.
