Pick N Pull Chandler has a website with updates of current inventory. As with anything popular, look at the date it was planted to guess if it has been picked clean or not. If you go by there often, you can see the incoming inventory through the slots in the fence where the crusher is at(under the overhang cover area). These will be the cars still on their wheels and tires, the ones without the wheels are going to be crushed. It takes a day to a week for the car to make it to the yard. They have a 50% off sale twice a year on Labor day and Memorial day. These sale days get pretty crazy so get there early, maybe even scout the yard a couple days before and stash whatever part you want for the sale; i.e. hide a VW motor in the bed of a Chevy truck and get there at opening to wheel it out the day of sale before someone else scams on your hard work.
Those are sweet,
re: the mk2 gti

In addition to my addiction to VW I am also into older Isuzu trooper from 84 to 86 with the round lights. If some of you happened to see by chance any of this older Isuzu trooper please let me know. They come with 2.2 liter diesel engines or gas engines. Some comes with LSD from the factory. They are great for all around vehicle. They are like VW once you own one you can't let them go. I do however own a 89 RS shortwheel base trooper since college and needed to put it back together. Thanks.
