I seem to always strike out at pet stores. everything is so small, i need a big one for my cichlid tank to keep it clean!!!

the little ones are always bullied fast and killed or stressed out to the point they die

How big do you want? A fish store near me almost always has big common pleco's in.

First off, plecos only really do any sort of "cleaning" when they're really small. The sub-adult and adult ones do none. They just sit around and poop...A LOT. They will not clean your tank in the slightest but will add significantly to your bio-load. If you're looking for a common pleco, you do know that they will get to be 12+" easily, right? Do you have a tank big enough to support an eating/pooping machine of that size?
