Thread: Bagged and Stanced my 135i . . .

    Just Kidding.

But I did have KW coilovers and new wheels installed. I also added a BMW Performance carbon fiber rear lip.

Enjoy. I will have better pictures later.

    ***EDIT***

Both of my dSLR's are being serviced by Nikon currently, so all I currently have is a RAW-shooting P7100. So I couldn't use any filters, etc. That said, I got a few more shots of my car in the harsh sun. Also, I took a video of how horrible the N55 sounds with a downpipe (it sounds like a farm tractor). It's so bad I may go back to the stock downpipe. This is a known issue among N55 tuners.

Here you will notice my screwed up front bumper, and the BMW Performance Shadowline kidney grills I installed (to replace the chrome-looking ones that came with the car).

Crappy pic, but you can see the BMW Performance Carbon Fiber Lip. I normally hate unpainted carbon fiber, but I like this for some reason.

Here's a crappy picture that illustrates my location. If you look closely, across the desert, you can see the LV Strip.

Here is an old pic from a few months ago of my interior.

And below is the video of my ****ting sounding tractor exhaust.
And to the right, you can see my wife's 128i with the now-infamous navigation system of doom

Looks good. I looked at the title then straight at the picture and was confused for a minute.

Good luck with all of those road raging women in their huge Yukons blaring their horns at you while you try to make it across and intersection.

Looks awesome. If I was to buy a new 135i, I would have gone with the exact same color combo and options.

Why do this to a leased vehicle? Are you planning on purchasing it afterward?

A suspension job isn't "easily removed." I don't think he did the work himself.

What makes you think that it's leased?

    I purchased it in 2010 when BMW had 0.9% financing . . .

I know of plenty of 135i owners that do the same thing and then have massive part-outs when their lease is up over on 1addicts. It's a common thing.

Trying to buy a 135i ASAP, this topic is not helping!

    It's pretty easily removed. $350 + 3 hours + alignment.

Not to mention that if I ever decide to trade the car in, you can usually negotiate to have the dealership swap in the stock suspension as part of the deal (they prefer the car stock anyway).

Because you have spoken non-stop about 1-series leases. My apologies if I forgot it was your wife's car that was leased.

Brilliant. Absolutely love the exterior/interior color combo. Just wish you had the shiny window surrounds instead of the Shadowline ones. Would go great with the wheels, too.
