    I have a KO3 turbo from my 99' Audi A4. I installed a brand new BW KO3 Turbo bc I thought this one was shot due to the noise it was making. Turns out it was the waste gate piece circled in red in the pic below. (It rattles as if it is loose) The turbo has next to no shaft play. The other flaw is that when I removed the turbo one of the three bolts broke off in the exhaust housing from turbo to exhaust manifold.

    Best solution would be to just swap exhaust housings from another turbo and you would be good to go.

    $50 shipped in the lower 48 states takes it.
