    HDD won't recognize MP4 file formats

    So I tried to load some music into my HDD and for what ever reason it shows MP4s as loaded into the system (ie it skips past the song but displays the title on the head unit for a brief second). Is there a preferred file extension all HDD music files should be?

    I believe it's MP3 and WMA only.
