5200??? That's insulting. To the OP, you and I know that at your price point, it will take much longer to sell which is fine because eventually someone will see its true value.

    Yep...

To the OP: This is an amazing amount of b/s. Kid buys my cousin's Corrado, throws coil overs, wheels, and some leather in it, and gets in ET...claiming that all the work was done by him. Ahh yes, I can see you painted the boost tubes (done in my uncle's garage by the way) black. That's about the extent of the engine work you did on this.

This car ran and ran FAST when you got it. Hahaha, man. I wonder how many people you've fooled telling them fake build stories with this thing.

I'm sorry, I don't know you. But I know this car and the person who built everything but the interior in it. GLWS

please this is the last time i will be responding to these things. I NEVER BUILT THIS ENGINE. when i bought it, it ran, but didnt run as well as it runs now. It is now very much a daily driver (from the original for sale thread by nick when responding to my interest)

^^just like what was said in the ET feature^^

    I DID...
put a slc front fenders, hood and bumper, and front fog lights and turn signals by me
complete 93+ interior (dash, door cards front and rear, rear seats, electrical etc) by me
recaros bought by me reupholstered by J&J upholstery
custom recaro brackets bought by me for a scirocco and modified to work on the SRD's for the corrado
seat brackets for factory seat belts made by me for SRD's
knee bars were reupholstered in tan leather by J&J upholstery
93+ headliner with b3 sunroof with slider installed by me

all switches have been changed to 93+ by me
swapped out the hatch and wing and put in all red tail lights by me (i payed someone to tint the tail lights)
i HAVE replaced the fuel pump, idle air control motor, intake gaskets upper and lower, valve cover gaskets, oil cooler gasket, timing belt, all the vacuum lines, coil, spark plugs, battery, welded intercooler piping brackets, by me
93+ gauge needles instaled by me
center guage pod (took out oem backing, made new backing for boost, and air fuel ratio) by me
replaced o2 sensor with oem g60 sensor by me (which i changed because the factory harness was cut and a 16v o2 sensor was spliced into the harness) the factory harness side plug was replaced with a g60 plug when the sensor was replaced.

new door latches installed by me

I have a complete ABA alternator/serpentine belt setup but have not installed it yet, it will go with the car if you want it.

This is what i can remember right now. and this will be the last time i will respond to this. those who know me know the work i put into this car and so did ET. for the last time I DID NOT BUILD THIS ENGINE. I did not tighten the head to the block or put in the few motor mount bolts in. somehow this means all that work up there counts for nothing? i have owned this car for almost 7 years now and this is the first time people are starting this stuff and i dont know why. i did talk about nick during the interview for the mag but it was short (he built the engine what else can i say) and they chose not to put it in the mag, thats there choice. I will not be responding to any more of these posts. thank you for the bump

Who cares???? He has owned the car for 7 years now, which is probably longer than your "cousin" has owned it. It's his car, he owns it, he can say he did everything. He owned it when it was in ET so does he have to mention your cousins name for the life of him owning it?

I don't don't get you goddamn VW guys anymore. It's like a ****ing **** measuring fest.

Ha, ok pal. I'm pretty sure this was settled a few months ago, but I'm glad you got your two cents in.

It's a known fact: he didn't build the engine. He, however, built/repaired everything else. The end. GLWS

If you can try to hang on to it. I feel bad for you, see all the terrible offers. Your car is worth way more then the amount of money people will actually pay. That is the downside of building or having a special car.
Or keep getting bull sh... Like the last post which is so ridiculous I can't even believe it.... Lol imo
Sorry doode but a yellow bug for this beauty... Really!
