I have been saving up money for my first car for a few years, and I have a few ideas for buying my first car. What I was wondering was would it make sense to spend all the money I have made/saved on my car, or find a car somewhere in the <$5k range, drive that for my last few years of high school, and get a newer car when I go to college. What would you suggest?

    In the ?????

Lots of detail there. Buy an Aston Martin.
Sure just get a Bugatti Veyron.

You need to know how much you have. If you will be financing. How secure is your job and what your expenses and loans are and what you can handle should the sh1t hit the fan.
    Only you can answer that.

So, get a Scion iQ or Nissan Versa maybe.
    Hard to say

The maximum I would be spending on a car is $10k, and I would not be financing it. I have to pay for gas, and half of the insurance. My job is secure since it's a family business, but I only work there during the summer.

Buy the best Accord you can get for $5k. Keep the rest for parties and trips in college.
