Hey guys so I finally got done with my build on a 1962 VW Bus. I’ve never done a build thread but I thought why not. After years of looking for the perfect bus I found one! And in my budget!!! It was a complete build from the ground up. Everything was in pieces, at points I thought no way am I going to finish this, but I cracked open another beer and kept on going. I took a ton of pics during the build and I hope you guys enjoy the process.

If you have any questions about my build and what I did please feel free to ask.

    Motor Done!

Mine took about six hours; but I stopped and went out to dinner in the middle.

Nice build! I want one so bad! Why is the Volkswagen emblem located at the front of the bus faded away?
    Laz

Many people enjoy eating apples and oranges, but in the end they are still… just apples and oranges. The R32 is passion fruit. . Live Long and Prosper.

Hi V-dub. Nicely build the VW bus. I remember this was the bus which was used mostly in the movies. Other than that this is certainly your thread. Not only you completed your bus within 3.5/4 hours, but in between you kept on taking out the pics to post out them here. I liked each and every one of them.

I think the two little triangle pieces on the bottom of the A pillars need to be rotated 180 degrees!
They've done studies you know. 60% of the time... it works every time.

I think it's just an illusion - a reflection on the chrome.

I just picked up one of these from the Lego store. I can't wait to put it together.
