Looking to get my first longboard. Haven't been on any kind of skateboard in a while. Want something that's easy to handle and smooth. Must be able to handle some crappy pavement at times.

Was looking at a few that have the drop through style trucks. Would that be a good choice for what I'll use it for? Not looking to do any tricks or anything like that, just fly around town, maybe use it to commute to the train station weather permitting.

Check out the Loaded Vanguard, if they still offer it hah. I've been out of the scene for a while, but actually just got off of mine, weird right? Its a solid every day board.. mines the 42 inch, flex 2, love it.

Try a Gravity 40" mini kick. They are about $160 complete. It has a kick tail and its a drop deck so its very easy to push and pop off curbs.

What are your thoughts on these drop down boards? They look sick.

Oh just realized the one you mention is a drop down

Came across churchill mfg and am leaning towards one of their completes. Can't beat the price.

Was close to pulling the trigger on a landyachtz switch, but I can't justify 250 bucks on something that I'm not going to use to its full potential anyway. I have too many hobbies. Just want something to roll around on and enjoy some fresh air.
