well after only two years of owning the jetta, i've decided to do some upgrades...
slow process but we getting there......

the one on the left ..thats her when i first got her.(i lower her a bit that day.)
so i've found this guy for "cheap" and now is when all started














a few trips to see ramon. always helping ..!!

it was time for the trans to go on...Mr Danny P. and bro.. thanks a milli..

and one of the best moments, until i get to start it for the first time...(the drop in)

so we mounted the radiator/condenser and fans...

b4 that also got some fresh oil in the a/c compressor

ren the spark cables connected some vacuum lines

started w/ all the fluids...did 15/40 diesel oil for the first run...g12 coolant (i was so happy and excited) TIL' ....

all the coolant was coming out of the sensor, like if there was an empty hole...so once again gotta order some parts and hopefully solve yet another problem...already order all three sensors new o-rings and 3 new clip retainers...housing was new so hope that'll fix it.

so much more to come,#bodywork and paint...#all the suspension..#brake upgrade...# and after all that I'll start with the interior ..

Does anyone have a female crank sensor connector?? The one on the harness ??? I can buy ur fried harness ..!! Or if ur kind enough to throw it at me.... Someone has to have a spare unusefull harness... Vr obdII or obdI don't matter.

GL with the build. and ive noticed alot of people are from jersey lol. we def need a meet or somthing like that, that would be a good look. also what are you looking at for wheels and suspension?? i have to go that route soon.

Today was a bittersweet day working on the car..!!!
Got everything pretty much in place.. Started filling up the fluids, to find a like from the cooling sensors (brown-blue-yellow) and all the coolant would come out like if there was nothing there...
Housing is new, sensors and gaskets are the old ones.. Hopeing To replace that and solve the problem... And crank it after 8month

hey man ..no problem, i've been learning along the way with this swap.... and is nice when ppl share the lil they know... it sure helped me since I started with this...

coils i have new Rokkors on, but i will upgrade ASAP...
wheels is hard to tell...i'm getting rid of EM's 008 this week, and getting two other sets : borbet type c's and '94 toyota supra ....all by next weekend....and who knows whats in the future

and meetings ...I have never been to one...YET.

Ive got the parts i order, new coolant sensors, new O-rings and the clamps to hold them in place...
also got the 17mm allen for the trans... fresh oil in there too.

i might keep that look...white mirror covers and and wheels....obviously if i decide to keep it, i'd be matching colors....

Everything was going well, we went to started, and injector #4 gaves us a wonderful shower of premium gas, and wouldn't get nice and tight in the fuel rail...so another il back up at the moment...but is almost there....
thats how i'm sitting now.

Yup that was my face too when I found out..... Is a '97 but was motor was built mid '96 at the end of obdI's ??? Some **** like that...!!!

also just put in that filter... I know is not a performing upgrade, but honestly I like how it looks.

with the cables guide covers look much cleaner...

Thanks!!!... And about the wheels/mirrors, I'm still indecisive!! I do like the idea, but still something off. First I gotta get right size of tires, second is matching the whites( wheels are off white, like creamy)... I might keep it, I don't want it all black, I know that!
We'll see .....
