so far, it's decent. i'm a sucker for reliability, coming from my GTI it should be a breath of fresh air. all i know is it's going to last, and i won't be driving it primarily so it'll last a while (hopefully)

I'm fairly certain there is a disease that afflicts many of us in which VW people buy 4X4s and vice versa.

same reason people get 2 dogs, one of which is usable, like a lab or pitbull (on trails, runs, etc.) and something like a corgi or dachshund as a low fun alternative

To be honest, the though of a VW and a Jeep in the same driveway makes me think you have a lot of repairs in front of you! I at least had a Toyota and a VW... So one of them was dependable!

Yes, the Runner was SAS. As for which one I preferred, do you mean between the Runner and R32? They were totally different machines... I will say I sold the R32 before I sold the Runner!

I did before I traded the GTI for a Mazda CX-9.

Driveway flexin' trying to see how much the tire rubs on the fender liner.

No pictures of them together. But I traded the GTI for the Mazda and then sold all the parts off the GTI and bought a project BMW and this is my driveway/parking lot now.
