set-top HDtv tuner just died

hi guys,
my Samsung DTB-H260F just died on me . it's remote had died a slow death about a year ago,and i thought all was well with it after i bought a wonderful Philips Prestigo remote.
are there currently any outboard HDtv tuners made? my Philips rear projector tv has no built-in tuner,so i seem to be stuck here

any suggestions?

i did poke around on Ebay and found a few good replacements,but i'd rather buy a new unit than take my chances with an older one.
i also saw some neat new Apple TV units advertised at a few retailers,but they seem more geared towards computer use and don't look to be OTA capable.i don't have cable,just a set of amplified rabbit ears (i get about 20+ channels in the Philly area with it )

well,i signed up on Ebay.found a VGC identical replacement unit.i'm going to buy it as soon as my PayPal account loads my $$.

7/17--i've been outbid 2 times,now .seems that some people really want to get their hands on these Samsung HD boxes at *any* cost.no tv for me anytime soon.i found another unit on bid,hoping for a better outcome this time;i put a couple extra $$ in my paypal account,just in case the bidding gets heavy.

i gave up on the ebay auction nonsense.i fixed my broken unit for ~$70 (power supply burned out,easy fix)

When I got my new set, I gave my old Sharp Aquos to my parents for use as a bedroom TV. I found out the hard way that the market for OTA tuners with HD outputs is very strong. After giving up on ebay, I found a combo DVD player/OTA Tuner on Craigslist. So far it's working well. Don't give up the search.
