Would be so much better without the script on the plates. They might as well put a shocker sticker on the window![]()

Many people enjoy eating apples and oranges, but in the end they are still… just apples and oranges. The R32 is passion fruit.. Live Long and Prosper.

That's an Otto Models resin model. I've got a few of their models now (Mk3 Highline & Rallye Golf) and they are really nice. I can see them becomming available for less money via Ebay once the hoopla wears off. I paid less that $110 shipped on each of mine & I'm pretty sure their release price was in the $120-$140 range. Keep in mind also; most of theirs are on a limited release basis. The .:R is a 3000-piece run, not your trpical mass-produced model.

Looks like as if R32 is itself parked over here. Loved the model. Truly would look much more better without the sticker plates. I just wanted to know its specifications, as if it is expensive then what are the facilities provided in it ?

is this like a diecast? do the wheels roll and doors open? or is it static?

These can be ordered (pre-ordered directly from Otto). Should be about $100-110 USD shipped, or less if you buy more than one.

As for this being a resin model, the wheels roll, but that's about it. no opening features, no real undercarriage detail. Feels heavy... almost like a diecast, but then you have to remember that places like the front half of the car are solid resin. Hard to tell the difference, really.
The magic of Otto models is subject matter... plain and simple. What details there are, are very well done. The lights, wheels interior details, paint, decals/badges, windows... all very nice.

Just a bit pricey.

It looks like preorder is either sold out or expired. If you are still interested, there is a member on some of the diecast boards that does group buys from www.modelissimo.de. Although the R32 is not presently listed on their website yet, I'm sure they will have it available for purchase. With the group buy discount and shipping, it will likely only be a few dollars more than if you had ordered it directly from Otto.
Just shoot me a PM if you are interested and I will put you in touch.
