I have a 2008 2.0t tsi jetta and recently the code P2015 came up. I brought it to a local vw shop and they said it could be my boost sensor or possibly my intake manifold..so therefore they didnt do any work to it because they werent 100% sure. So i bought a boost sensor myself and replaced it today and the code came back on. I've been reading up on this code all day and am still wondering if I should go ahead and replace the manifold or if it could be something else?? Also, I found an intake manifold on ecstuning for the CCTA TSI motor and I have the CBFA TSI motor..i was wondering would I be able to buy that intake or is there that much of a difference..
Any info will be useful, Thanks!!

if you're getting that code, more than likely you're gonna need to replace the manifold. My manifold flap quit working @ about 80K miles. I called VWUSA to see if they could do anything for me, and they covered the part in full. If you're doing the work yourself, try calling VWUSA first. They know this is a problem.

GTI'09 50k miles
I tried to call VW Owner's Customer CARE 1-800-822-8987, they say that I have to go to dealership first. I called the dealership, they want $150 just for diagnostic. How did you get them to pay for the part? Did they cover the labor or you replaced it on your own?
Also how bad this malfunction is? What does it do/doesn't to my? How long can I drive with this?
Thanks

I'm having the same issue currently, threw the code after going stage 2 when I hopped onto the freeway and let er' rip. Maybe I will give a try calling VW and see what they say about it.

Intake manifold. Had mine replaced a couple weeks ago. I had cleared the code a couple times every day for a few weeks prior.
The first line of defense is You. H&R springs Bilstein sports APR stage 1, maybe exhaust on the way.

I have had CELs three different times since I bought mine at 29K miles. First they replaced the PCV, then the intake manifold flap, then the manifold itself just 5000 miles ago. I only have 60.5K on my Jetta.
It never ends.![]()

Not sure if you've taken care of this, but VW admitted to me on the phone that this is an engineering issue. The dealer charged me for the diagnostic and labor. I couldn't get VW to cover the labor because I was @ 80K miles. I don't know how long you should drive with the flap malfunctioning. I drove with mine for 5-10K miles and I currently don't own the car anymore because I had large amounts of metal shavings in the oil pan. I think the two issues were unrelated, but you never know.
