Thread: Alum boost tubing spec request

  1. 07-05-2012 10:30 PM #1
    It's really a 2-part question
    1. What type of aluminum tubing do you use for boost pipes? (Grade/gauge).
    2. Where's a good supplier (preferrably Canadian, just from a shipping cost perspective) for mandrel bends in the right kind of aluminum? I'd need something similar to the Columbia River kits, but in alum. 2-3 90's, 2-3 180's and some 45's.

I've used CXRacing aluminum piping several times recently and the quality is surprisingly good... and they weld nicely also.

Oh damn! Look at that! They do aluminum now. I thought they used to only do mild and stainless.
