    anyone on here in nova can clear an airbag light for my mk3 golf?if so how much?thanks

    It's on for a reason. Find out why you have it and then fix it. You can't just "clear" an airbag light.

    well the clockspring was broken so i had a resistor in the plug on the car (found out what ohm resistor i needed via vortex) and i needed the light cleared.i ended up putting another clockspring and my buddy at work cleared it with his vag com

    just for future needs, autozone or any parts store have code readers that they lend for free so you can clear your codes.

    FWIW, my early MKIV required the use of a VAGCOM to clear an airbag light. Not sure if it's different from the MKIII. Generic code readers would clear error codes, but not the airbag light.
