Old and new together
Home sweet home
Up to a few weeks ago, started feeling uneasy about buying the benz. Fact that i'm going from awd to rear drive for winter, buying brand new. Seeing how much I lost in resale value in my Acura (which supposedly has great value) and not wanting to lose a crap ton again when I need change from benz.
Cousin has high line car connections, made some moves. Test drove this, loved it. Sent it for full inspection. Never has been tracked, updated launch control. Clean with 30 000km's. Fluids in great shape (change those in fall). Very cool car, still have to get used to it. Loving the responsiveness of the car. The power is nuts. First sports car ever!

I think I'd take that over the C63. Nice ride.

Congrats on the awesome purchase! I don't really see a downside to this, especially if you got a good deal on it. Isn't even a small part of you going to miss the awesome grumble that current AMG V8s are known for? Which isn't at all to say that the GT-R isn't a fantastic car. Having been out on a road course with a GT-R I can attest to how outragously fast these cars are. And they're so effortless in their speed.

Nice pickup! I've only seen them in black and white so far but that is a nice red/burgundy it seems.

As a C55 guy, I say, eh, seems like a fair trade-off.
That parking spot is atrocious though. I can see the future door dings from here.![]()
A list of mods, all cars ever owned and something cribbed from a book, song and/or movie were all just here. Sorry you missed out on my unique, snowflake-like individuality.

shoulda gotten the AMG
ive had the pleasure of driving a GTR with bolt-ons and a tune, fantastic car, but... given the choice i think i would have gone AMG![]()

An aftermarket Ti exhaust would make louder DSG farting noises than the C63 during downshift..
Gorgeous car

The angle of the parking pic is not great. But I have plenty of room to get out. And my best friend lives next to me and that's his parking space next to mine. He reverses in, so his driver door is away form my car. I'll be moving to a different place sooner or later. But the fear of a door ding or two will not keep me from enjoying life. This is a car at the end of the day.
As for Hgreg comment, he's a family friend. This was his son's personal car, not an auction car. Had it thoroughly inspected.
Just got a ride in a tuned with meisterschaft exhaust+midpipe. WOWOWOWOWOW. I need that stuff now. I will be most likely doing a set of bronze HRE's with michelin PSS for next year. These wheels and tires are heavy as hell, and not a fan of RFTs.
Anyone know how to connect my iphone 4 to the car by bluetooth? Can't find that part of the manual

I think this one was up for just under $62k. Looks really nice!
Someone a few streets over from me has a black one and it rumbles when he goes past. Nice sounding machine.
