I was told they are still waiting on the custom filters to show up and then they will be shipping. BSH is hoping for a Saturday ship but it looks like Monday or Tuesday.

I thought these were supposed to ship after the 4th? I just don't want to send my payment and have to wait for months like some did for the VWR.

hey everyone. Intakes are in fact going to ship by early next week. We don't charge till we ship so you do not have to worry about having your money tied up. Also we are looking for a stock Golf r in the phoenix Arizona area that is interested in our PR intake. The catch is you have to let us dyno your car with a VWR intake then our PR intake. If the VWR intakes makes more power then our PR Intake we will buy you the VWR Intake. If not we will give you a PR intake for wholesale and install it for you. Also we will be dynoing at a APR dealer.

The hold up is that the initial batch of air filters were not as perfect of a fitt as they wanted. Those were sent back and a new batch should arrive shortly. Then they all get packed up with love and care and sent to you, the wise early adopters who don't want to follow the traditional trendy route. The people who want real PROVEN power gains from the worlds first "colder pathway" intake system. It'll be worth the wait, no question in my mind at all. Everyone post up pics of yours when they arrive on this thread!

Not to get into my challenges, but I can't get back out to Phoenix until after my place is rented which should be this week. At that point I will shoot gobs of pics and video of the new stuff. TBE is on the menu for sure, no doubts. Will update you asap.

I've just been sitting on the sidelines waiting to see everything come out before making any modding decisions. This seems like too good a deal to pass up. I have a bone stock R but don't think I could convince the wife to let me make the drive. How long would the whole process take? Could this be done in a day?

It could be all arranged ahead of time so that you roll into town and they just handle business. Where are you located?

That's odd because i was charged on 6/28 for $440.98 - Do you mean you charge before you ship?? I just don't want to be double charged...
      Before - 2007 Fahrenheit GLI - Unitronic Stage 1+ - Valentine1 - 35% tint all around

      Current - 2012 Golf R - 4dr - Rising Blue - APR Stage 1 - BSH PR CAI - Valentine1 - 50% tint all around

My order is left in "Pending", so I assumed they'll be charging me when shipped I'm sure in your case, you are shown as "Paid" and highly doubt you'd be double charged. I emailed sales the other day, and Brad responded quite fast. I'd suggest shooting them an email if you're worried about it.

They will not be double charging you to my knowledge. Maybe its a pre-auth? Not sure but they have a good system in place to track sales so you should be cool.

I have a bone stock R and am a short distance from GoodSpeed. I wouldn't be opposed to doing the test fit and dyno runs as long as I knew I'd be taken care of if anything went awry. If I'm gonna be a guinea pig, just wanna make sure I'm covered, ya know?

They want to have everything done on the same dyno for consistency sake. Sorry man.

Sometimes I really hate living in the NE. Id hop on that if I was in the area. Also curious to see numbers on a stock car.

Any way to mod the stock engine cover/intake to make things look tidy with this setup? Really glad I've been waiting to decide on which intake and tune to go with for my R.
