Ken, from BSH, texted a photo of the heat shield (with my number) to me today. Says they are still on schedule to ship tomorrow.

^ Those are looking really sweet. I still wish I could have gotten it clear powder coated, instead of black. I like the metal look.

I hope the intake arrives in time for an install before Dubs Along the Rockies on Saturday.

As of yesterday afternoon, Ken said they would ship today.

The numbering on the heatshield that Ken sent me the picture of, leads me to believe there are 20 preorders. However, I did count a little more than that in one of the pictures from a few days ago, so they are probably building a little bit of extra stock.

There were 25 pre-ordered for BATCH#1 and only 20 are being numbered for the the lucky few who got in on the ground floor so to speak. The others are for some builds that they are supporting. If you guys like the other pics i shot maybe this one will cause a stirring in the ol' pantelones as well , LOL!

Hey guys.. sadly the intakes are not shipping out today. Powder coat wasn't expecting the 175 pieces we dropped off. there was a chance they were going to ship today so i didn't say anything till i knew for sure. They said that it will be done by tomorrow and Friday at the latest . so as soon as they come in they will ship out. anyone needing the intake for a show or anything else important please text me at 480-249-6766 and i will try and work out an express option with you to make sure you get it on time. also make sure you like us on facebook and post your order number and say (i want to win) for a drawing of a free pendulum mount. the winner will be announced the day the intakes ship and will be included in your box ..

I'ts a good thing you guys give updates... even if they take time. Some people take you're money and you never hear from them. I'm waiting to see the response and then I may be next in line. Shame APR couldn't get their intake **** together.

The pictures are looking really good. iMod (Jason) has a pretty good eye for photography.

The anticipation is killing me. This is pretty much my last piece, other than the PODI true blue boost gauge.

These kinds of updates, even if the pictures weren't as artistic, would keep people much more calm and collected during a delay. If you had hit your original ship date, then updates would not have been necessary, but they would have been appreciated. My experience is that people are understanding, but only if you give them the information to be understanding.

One more piece of project management knowledge to take away from this. Your suppliers/contractors should know the size of the job you need them to do. It was a surprise to hear that the powder coater was not prepared for the size of this order. They should have been made aware of what was coming their way. Maybe this was a misunderstanding, but it is still something to learn from. You might have told them at some point, but they must not have heard you. Make sure they understand the scale by repeatedly telling them what it is.

Yes i should have saw that there would be many pieces but i wasn't thinking of that and compared to what we usually drop off to them which is 50 catch cans or 50 intake pipes 175 pieces they never did before could throw them off. they are always super busy but usually give us one day turn around as we are dropping off a couple of times a week. Again something for me to be aware of for next time and make the whole process more efficient for the next round of goodies.

Bah, June 27, you were so late to the game. I was all-in on June 10. I think I ordered it about an hour after iMod announced the preorder was open.

Ello everyone. Let me start off by saying that only one package went out today. We got the items late from powdercoat and well i wanted to install the finished intake before we sent out just to make sure there were no fitment issues. The intake fits great! I dint find one minor issue but was able to fix it. unfortunately the package i sent number 1 doesn't have the fix and i will be contacting him and express shipping the correction. i will be doing a install write up and posting it on monday so it should be up before you receive your packages. NOW FOR THE PICS!!!!!

I got a Synpase D.V so far i love it. it noticeably increased throttle response and it also seems to hold boost better as well over stock.

    [IMG]Photobucket[/IMG]

P.S all intakes will ship by tomorrow..

This looks awesome! I'd really like another pic or two of how it connects to the stock location on the grill. The plastic bits are obscurring it slightly.

Also, I've noticed that there seem to be extra IMG tags around images you post most times. I wouldn't normally care, but it breaks my Tapatalk!
