this is a feeler on whats out there, i have a 98 jetta with some euro goodies and other good stuff, but i wanna get back into a mk2..![]()
Body:
Texture top gti euro front bumper
Texture side moldings and top of rear bumper (bed liner)
European radiator support
E-code headlights
Vento rear plate tub
Vento badge
Euro flairs (not on but included)
Euro rear VW badge
Interior:
Recaro trophies (extended and welded the arms)
Cup holder mod with relocated radio
Momo Steering wheel
Euro headlight switch
black leather rear 60/40 fold
Rollers:
Rokkor coilovers (12k on em)
shmidt spacelines 16x8.5, 16x9.5 staggered
205/40/16 kumho's all around for stretch
3degree camber on rear with toe fixed (done with ez-shims)
Engine:
vr6 with 149k miles, runs strong (chains and guides not done yet)
Nuespeed filter
Nuespeed cat back exhaust
Techtonics chipped
Relocated battery to trunk
Custom catch can
BDBP skid plate
hockey puck front and rear mounts, raised pan to k-frame
lets see what ppl offer, mostly interested in clean mk2 VR's... but we'll see, worst i can say is no!

Not every MkIV needs to be even this fast but when a car is so low it looks broken and has more money in the wheels (with huge rear wheels no less) than the car's KBB it just doesn't make sense.

bout time i updated, been mia for a while sry pplz!
i now reside in palm bay florida, was trying to trade before h2o 2012 but nothing came through..
as of now i would still trade it for a clean mk2, but would need to be swapped, either vr6 (done right) or a 1.8t.. could have a blown motor but would need cash on top.
nothing much different about my jetta besides its lower (thank you Florida flat roads), smoked clear long turns w/ fogs, and a vr6 lip (beat).. oh and a sticker bombed wink mirror.
just ticked 160k miles also but still runs great, like i said i just drove it from philly pa to h2o, then down to Florida.. 1500 miles in 4 days, now i drive 75 miles a day for work. i'd drive it back to pa in a heartbeat.
