I have a really nice 1995 BMW 740i sedan. This car is very comfortable and extremely fun to drive. With the purchase or trade of the vehicle, I will include a Thule roof rack and Bentley Repair Manual. The car has roughly 157k miles on it.
Good:
-powerful 4.0 m60 V8 engine
-coolant system recently replaced (radiator, water pump, hoses, thermostat...exc)
-brakes recently done
-facelifted LED tail lights retrofitted
-OEM style HID headlights
-NEW TIRES (less then 2k on them....touring style good for 50k)
-new fuel filter, cabin air filter
-new power steering lines and flush
-brake fluid flush
-leather seats reconditioned to new
-6 disc cd changer
-hard wired radar detector
-transmission flushed, new filter, o-rings, fluid. All OEM
-thrust arms replaced and suspension bushings freshened
-valley pan gasket, PCV, o-rings, intake manifold gaskets....replaced 7/18
-A/C blows cold
issues:
-some paint blemishes from bird droppings.... most likely can be wet sanded out by a professional detailer
-the LED tail lights cause a 'check bulb' warning when car first starts, but quickly goes out after a few seconds once it realizes they are fine. Ordered the cable to turn off the 'cold bulb check' to solve this LED based issue....without hacking up the wiring using resistors.
The cars I am interested in for trade would be:
-any 3rd or 4th generation Volkswagens.... would prefer a wagon
-Any volvo or saab wagons.
-something fuel efficient and preferably German....
- not looking to put much money on top...I love this car and would not have a problem just holding on to it.
