I know there's a small difference between the 2 but are they interchangeable? I'm doing a vr6 autoto manual conversion. Can't find the info in search either

The ends on the transmission side are different between the Corrado G60 and Corrado VR.

There might be other difference but I haven't noticed myself. The VR ones are better and less prone to breakage on the ends on the transmission side.

I've been told that the VR cables on a MK3 Jetta/Golf are a differen't length than the Corrado VR or G60 ones. Don't know if this is 100% true but while researching an auto to manual swap for my MK3 I was told by 2 differen't shops that I would have to use the Cables from a MK3 VR and that the Corrado cables were too short or shorter to be exact.

I have. 9a 16vt.i used the g60 bell housing with a vr gear case and gears I had to use the vr shift tree. I was able to use the g60 shifter and cables. From what I remember I had to get a vr cable bracket that mounted to the tranny I think I had to cut one of the mounts for that bracket.
