There is a killer 3 day package offered by ducati. Dont have to own one to get the package. Its 125 for 3 day passes with food and merch vouchers and a discounted parade lap on the track

Every year the undercover police cars are out in serious force for the whole week. Lots of mustangs and some cars you wouldn't expect. Just a fyi.

I completely agree about the coma. I go up every year (from central ky) with some friends but we take a car. We all ride, but the flat and straight roads kill us. I have a few friends that used to ride up but now drive. If you're from a hilly, curvy area I wouldn't suggest riding.

Hopefully the weather is cool this year like the first GP but it's even earlier so probably not.

The pic didn't load at first. Nice bike. I have an '07 Speed Triple

Last year was my first MotoGP races (Laguna AND Indy), and I'll probably go to Indy again this year. Can't justify the road trip to Cali from DC every year.

The main roads do suck, however the back roads would surprise you. I found a couple roads with turns AND hills!

i'm going. luckily i only live about 15 minutes away, probably just going on sunday. i haven't been out there for the gp yet, just downtown once. they shut down meridian from the circle south about 4-5 blocks and it's nothing but bikes lined up. pretty cool to check out, plus it's the road with majority of the food and bars with all others within a couple blocks or it.

The girlfriend and I hit up MotoGP at Laguna Seca this past weekend. Great race! Indy will be another good one.

that's a tough one at Indy. if youre in the grandstands the pit lane grandstands and pagoda pretty much block the infield. best spot in the grand stands would probably be turn 3 area/turn 1/turn 2 area. otherwise if you don't have to have a seat, get a general admission to the infield and walk around to check out the rest of the course.

I always sit in turn 4 of the oval. You can see most of the track from the turn off the back stretch to the front stretch.

    That's where I've always sat.

I'm going this year, but wont be going for the whole weekend. Riding over Sunday morning to see practice/races. Try to do the day for about $100. Better than the ~$500 its been for the weekend in the past. hah
