whats up guys, ive been contemplating making a thread for my baby, so the final decision is obvious and here is my build thread. i cant promise daily update but i can sure try.
GONNA TRY AND POST ALOT OF PICS

so his is quite the story so here it is.
august of 2010 i fell in love with my first mk2 gti i had ever owned, needing a car bad to get to school and take my little sisters to school and getting to work i searched craigslist for a golf, and after a while i found one so i call the guy late at night and tell him i want to check it out the next morning. So morning came and i had my friend drive me about an hour to go check out this car, and as we are pulling up to the place i spot it from a distance and i fell in love. there car was not perfect buti loved it, it was a completely stock tornando red 8v gti with a cracked tail light and missing side mirror and 278,000 miles. after a while of negotiating with the guy and pissing him off and me chasing him and apologizing, i finally got it, and it was finally mine. i couldnt stop smiling the whole way home. so after a while of owning the car and saving a couple paychecks i bought some coilovers and lowered the car after that life was never the same, and i fell deeper in love. so after a year i started to plan out a VR swap in it.

    so i found my donor:

ripped out the engine and took it home :

and fter alittle bit i started working on it and building the engine:

so needless to say i tried to get moving on this project and everything seemed to be going smoothly until one morning i got called in to work for no good reason on new years eve and this happened :

    and this is the aftermath:

hands down, it was the worst day of my life.EVER.

after a bit of searching and tryyyyying to fing a good recipient for the swap i found one within my budget:

not as good at all, leaks everythere, cant find first or reverse easily, just a piece of S**T, but it would do.

Going to five lug, thought about staying four because I would have a wider range of wheels to choose from, I decided on five lug anyway haha. Plus the wheels that I really wanted and found for it are 5x100 and it sealed the deal lol.
