I just purchased a 1985 Cabrio, that was running well in the past, but now after a 8 months of being parked, it seems to be failing after a a few miles on the road or when it hits it's optimal temperature. I have replaced the Fuel Filter and Plugs, and air filter. Could there be a problem with fuel leaks, Catalytic converter or Fuel pumps?

An engine can stall in more than one way. You don't indicate if it just dies all of a sudden and under what condition (under load, at idle, stady speed) or if it starts bucking and then dies or maybe begins to run rough (idle) and stalls out. There are different reasons for the different ways an engine dies, but my first guess is the cold start valve leaking, just a guess right now.

When you start it, does the inline fuel pump buzz normally and then getting increasingly noisy before it dies? If you let it cool for 15 minutes, does it restart and go a little farther before it dies again? The words "optimal temperature" sound like the problem I had with the intank pump after about 5 minutes of driving.

Well when it dies it feels like it is struggling to get fuel to the injectors or catalytic converter pressure is building up. It happens after a couple of minutes on the road as the heat goes up and I begin to accelerate and slow down while managing my gear shifting. After a while of driving and at a complete stop the car struggles to go and boggles as I step on the gas.

But when I take it out for a drive it begins to fail. I did notice after reving the motor while in an idle the exhaust seemed to hesitate and rpm meter as well when coming down from high rpm.
