so for awhile, i took a break from working on the car to spend more time with my new family, work and school.

i recently purchased a fusebox and a harness from forum members and that hasnt gotten me anywhere with my issues, and actually gave me a new one, no cranking.

so im going to tear into my old harness and make any and all repairs.

anyone have any idea as to where the wiring for the fuel pump is ran? is it ran on the floor, driver side?

You posted earlier that the PO had a push button start wired in.
Have you replaced that with a New good quality ignition switch yet?
Have you returned the ignition switch wires back to stock?
( start trouble shooting with the obvios first )

    Your harlequin certainly is 1337.
BTW I had to do a complete double take on this VIN... Since mine is ...113337 compared to your ...113377 lol

    lol, thats cool man.

So after being a complete dumbass and also not updating this for months. Heres whats been done so far.

I took the "new" harness out and put the old one back into the car. I need to plug in the PDC and buy a new ECU because I fried it when I connected the battery up bassackwards. Once thats done, Im going to get a fresh battery and start diagnosing the no start issue. I believe it to be the crank sensor but we'll see. I also need to re-build my alternator and put new diodes in it because those are fried too.

I just hate that I dont have the time right now between work, school and my baby girl to fix it up but eventually I'll have the gratification of driving down the road with all the gawking and laughing

I'd bet that ecu is definitely the culprit. My vr gti stopped running, and that ended up being the culprit.
