I got my hands on an HP s3137c computer. I want to make it my Tv computer. The Tv tuner card was taken out of it unfortunately. I want to use the speakers in my Tv. I don't want to spend more than $10-15 to make it work. I hooked it up with an svideo and 3.5 mm audio jack to Rda cable but it was only black and white. Can I fix it so that it works with that cable or is there a better option?

It's going to look like crap with svideo and your resolution will be limited compared to what you could buy even for $50 in a Roku or other set top.

Sounds like some issue with cabling on the black and white video issue as s-video should output all colors. Or perhaps a driver issue. What i'd recommend is using that PC to store your music on with hard drives in it, in the basement and get a basic Roku, WD or Seagate set top that can stream music and video off of it.
