I know they went on sale somewhat recently, but where are the members w/ the facelifted models? Post pics!!Love the 09-12 and love what they did to the 2013.
I'm looking to lease one in the next week or so after I sell my MKV GTI... anyone happen to lease a CC Sport and don't mind sharing what they got it at?
here's the shoe I drive now

Hey Guys..
Been lurking for a month or so now.. Seems like a good place..
Back in mid May I ordered a 2013 Sport with the LED package in the "FORTANA RED" and it should have been here at the end of July early August..
Just heard from my dealer last night and They will not be able to deliver the car until NOVEMBER as there is an issue with the paint color... I am superreally wanted the RED as no one has it..
Now I need to decide on a different color..
The only other color I like is the Candy White.. so I will be going today to see what they can do to ease my pain.. I am going to try and squeeze whatever I can out of them..lol
Thanks

Good luck - sucks on the color issue - I knew the Fortuna red and the black oak brown were going to be troublesome to get - I was considering a black oak brown with two tone brown interior, but the unreliability of the order process and the additional difficulty of an already rare model (VR6 4mo Exec) meant I'd have no real way of knowing when I'd get the car. As it was, I thought I'd be waiting until June/July to get my VR6 4mo since they seemed to be listed as later availability, so when one showed up on the first shipment in early April, I grabbed it in silver, no questions asked!

If you -really- want Red, have your sales guy check the database for Reds around the country. Scour websites for VINs and send them off to the guy. Sometimes dealers will not register their vehicles in the sales database, so befriend a service adviser and have him verify the VINs, etc.
It's a long ass process, but it may result in you getting your Red CC prior to November, especially because the first search I did pulled up four in New Jersey.

I was told the build date for RED was to begin in late May. I was under the impression the Fortana red had not even been built yet.. That is why I ordered it.. I was told this by 4 different dealers.. Can you pm me your search that resulted in 4 2013 Fortana Red cars in NJ??
I will find out more today when I go to the dealer.
Thanks

Clicky Clicky
VW.com has the only 'Red' listed as Fortuna Red Metallic.
For some background, the Executive trim is still officially listed as 'late availability', and technically arrives late summer. However, a number of them have been coming over in each 'regular' shipment. When I first approached my dealer, they couldn't find them, and told me to wait. It was someone here who first tipped me off that they were actually IN the States, and so the search began.
Using sites like Autotrader and Cars.com I was able to start pulling VINs and supplying them to the dealer.
It is very important to note that if you're looking to stay with your current dealer, not to contact the other dealers directly. They'll think you're a potential customer, so if YOUR dealer follows up, they could potentially act like they have a buyer.

TY!
I'd approach it by arming yourself with verification that the VIN matches up with the color/interior listed, and work from there. If they say they don't have it, pressure them. They could be withholding it for the time being (aforementioned instance where they do not register the car with their 'dealer code' in the VW database). Use your Service Advisor to run the VIN, it'll pull from a different database than the one the sales guys generally use.

I just got a 2013 Sport 6MT with Lighting packge. They had to go get it elsewhere (Dealer Trade) for the manual. I got the Black Oak Brown and could not be happier; it is a rich, classy looking color.
They found 6MT's in Black, White, Silver and Black Oak Brown near by. They had a Black Oak Brown w/DSG on the lot, and after I saw it, the decision was easy.

I have not heard any noise from the clutch; the noise I hear most is from the crap tires that came on the car.

What color is that please - black oak brown? It seems like it may be reflecting some color from the sky or a nearby object?
I love the black oak brown, but would like to see it side by side with a black CC on the lot before choosing. That's not likely. I've found ONE black oak brown, but it was the most basic model. I want the sport plus, and may wait for the R Line this fall/winter. I'm hearing they wont' be in until December?

It is Black Oak Brown. I saw it next to a Black one and it was an easy decision for me.
The car was mostly in the shade which is why the front end looks different than the back, which was seeing some direct sun. In sunlight, the color is outstanding and the metallic finish really shows up well.
Of course Color choice is subjective; when I had my GTI, there were a lot of people that raved about Candy White; that would be my last choice in colors that were available so go figure...

I picked up a 2013 CC Sport about a month ago - 800 miles on the odo.....
What I've done so far:
1) APR Stage 1
2) Installed 19 inch MRR HR2's on Hankook Evo V12's 245/35/19's
3) Just ordered an APR CAI with ram air bracketry and CBFA breather filter
The intakes are on backorder, not sure when I'll get it, but once I install I will snap some new pics.

Well as some may have already read.. I had ordered a 2013 Sport w/ LED package in RED.. which I was told will not happen until November Maybe..
So I had to select another color.. We chose Black w/ 2-tone interior.. It was a tough choice as I really do love the white.. but the black looks great also..
I was able to squeeze a few extras from the dealer..
Upgraded to a Sport Plus..
Rear Spoiler
Monster Mats... It was the thaught that counted..
I am leasing the car so I am not sure what changes I will make other then Tint & Wheels.. I would love to lower it a bit but not really sure if i want to deal with any nonsense from the dealer..
Can't wait to get the car which should be next week or so..
