super clean, great pics![]()
I changed my oil with diluted KY Jelly and I really like it. Drove it 3 miles no problem yet. Highly recommend it.

It looks like through them I'd have to piece the kit together and have it end up costing more. Any idea if they or anyone else sells a complete side skirt kit?
Thank you!!
I've been eyeing all of those parts for quite some time. My brothers cup edition is stage two with a full turbo back exhaust from them. On my to-do list.

Car looks great! I just picked up a '10 Jetta TDI a month ago, I know later down the road I will want to install OEM LED tails. Did you have to do anything different during the install being that it is a 2010 with MKVI electronics? Or is it the same as any other MKV? Also, ECS and OEM Plus have the GLI lip kits as a set. I have already been looking into them for my car. The paint on the factory lower valances doesn't match perfectly on mine and it really bothers me.

Thank you sir. Installing the tail lights was quite a process and I believe I may be one of a handful of people who have 100% successfully installed them WITHOUT bulb out errors. I had to upgrade my CECM to a high-line one which is now discontinued. The newer ones will work properly however you'll have a bulb out indicator. VERY different from any other MKV. I actually wrote up a huge procedure on how to do the whole process, but the tricky part will be obtaining the correct CECM.
I DO!
Thank you!

i reallylike this.
Great process.
Where in NY are you?
Also, what do you mean by you set up fogs for corner lighting?
#19
Thank you! I should actually post a stock pic, but you guys all know what a stock Jetta looks like...
I am in the Albany area.
Cornering lights are a pretty cool feature that while the headlights are on and the fog lights are off, if you turn the blinker on and turn the steering wheel in that direction the fog light on that side will light up. This is supposed to add viability while turning at night. A lot of GM cars do that from the factory. Hope that made sense, lol.

Looks clean but the chrome trim seems to clash a bit with the theme.

Super clean, OP. Was expecting run of the mill TDI and was pleasantly surprised by your nice jetta.
Platinum gray?

I got back and forth on that topic. I think I may try some plasticdip on there to see how it goes. The chrome still matches the chrome in the headlights and tail lights so it's not completely out of place.
Thank you. Clean is the look I'm going for. I'm not about over the top mods especially since this car is my daily driver. My overall goal with my car was to take the normally bland and boring TDI and make it stand apart from the rest while maintaining an OEM+ type feel.
It is indeed platinum gray.

Just ordered all the parts to install the rain/light sensor, auto dimming CC mirror and it'll be programmed to do all the neat coming home/leaving home, auto headlights, auto wipers, auto lights when raining and last but not least, close the windows/sunroof if it starts to rain! Man I love these sneaky little mods.

Got the car chipped this weekend at Waterfest with APR's recently released TDI software. I was actually the first customer.

Man this really, really makes me want to get the GLI grille. I think I'm starting to prefer the glossiness over my matte plastidip grille. Looks awesome!
