A good gun belt is an important piece of gear that is often forgotten...

Heres my favorite gun belt, especially for range duty... the Ares Gear ranger belt, highly reccommend if you can take the extra minute to undo the cobra buckle. Its made of scuba webbing so its super rigid and stiff as you can see in the pic

my other favorite is a Wilderness Tactical frequent flyer with CSM stiffener, very lightweight yet functional, what i usually use daily...

looks flimsy here but with CSM insert they are pretty rigid, I also have a 5 stitch 5.11 trainer belt and its not as supportive as one of the WT nylon belts with the CSM and the metal buckle on the 5.11 the coating flakes off easily which is not the case with the classic proven WT instructor belt...

Nice belt setups!! Only downside for me is all the ranges within 60 minutes don't allow holsters or belts. I'd like to get a good belt setup going for sidearm, some mags for pistol and rifle, and small gear, but for the time being it is not to be.
    VW CEL Breakdown here.
My GLI is dead, waiting for new headwork. AEM intake, APR R1, APR TIP, ST Coilovers, Eurosport Lower Front Stress Bar, BFI Stg. 1 Motor Mount Kit, .:R32/BFI LCA Bushings, Neuspeed 28mm RSB, Forge SS w/ S2S, 42DD shift linkage bushings, Verdict Motorsports shift bracket bushings.

SuperStar - who did your RMR work?

I have an ARES belt, which I'm debating using. I already have a TT belt, so I'm not 100% sure I "need" to the ARES belt. If I don't use it, I'll sell it to my buddy.

They are still made in Washington by a small company. Black is on backorder for a couple of weeks but I don't mind waiting for a quality product.

For anyone interested, the Maxpedition Operator Tactical Attache Bag (will also carry a small or medium laptop among other things) is on a closeout for $79.99 plus shipping.

Tactical Tailor isn't that small they have a huge shop next to Joint Base Lewis McChord and have like 200 people with sewing machines in the wherehouse, they have everything in stock you can order from directly.

Yeah. I've got a like-new Arktis vest I picked up off a buddy for cheap and it's nice, but I'm still drawn to a belt/suspenders setup, something simple like LC1/H-straps and go from there.
