Hello, this is new for me. (and my english is not so good, i'm from Norway....)

But can I buy a MSD blaster coil on run it on my car?
    1,8 16vT with Digifant 1 ECU.

    -K24 KKK 7000 turbo
    -440 ccm injectors
    -3,5 bar fpr
-BKR7E spark plugs, gapped to 0,6mm

    1,6 bar boost pressure

Today i've got 270whp / 347nm on the hubs with Rototest.

Is there anything from MSD product that can improve my setup?
And will the tachometer still work?

Thank you all for all answers I can get !

The coil will work, however I'm not sure if it'll improve your setup.

The factory Bosch ignition system is very very good and sometimes performs better then MSD.

The bosch setup is powerful, but the 6a will help with optimization of spark timing...

If you want to use MSD 6A ignition amplifier,I would use the Blaster SS coil with this setup.
When mounting this you must remember to file down the distributor rotor to a specified width.
You also have to move the rotor a bit, cause the MSD 6A ignitor has a slight bit of delay when triggering the camshaft sensor.

    Resurrecting for clarification/more info....

I also have a 16vT running Digi1 (for now). I have a stage 5 chip from BBM and timing is set as per Bentley. She runs good. My distributor/cap/rotors/plugs are all brand new and plug wires don't arc.

I just picked up an MSD 6a (6200), and of course I would like to wire it up.

Will this be ok? I realize some MSD's have the ability to change timing under boost, and is this recommended or even required instead of the 6a? ...doesn't my ecu (chip) already handle that? If I don't need the MSD to change timing, is it ok to run the 6a for a better spark?

I understand how to wire it up, but do I need any additional MSD parts to get it to work? Will the tach work fine connected to the MSD's tach output spade, or do I need that MSD 8910 EIS tach adapter?

How much do I have to file down the rotor? Both sides?

and yes I assume I'll have to reset the ignition timing as per Bentley.

    Any info/help is appreciated
