One of my favorites, actually drank one earlier today at VAG fair. If nobody from Vermont brings any I will bring you one. I will be in Vermont the weekend before the show and I will be picking up a few cases.

Update - Yes, Shipyard was at my local store, but not Pumpkinhead. There were several other pumpkin varieties and I may have squealed like a little girl when I saw them. I can't say for sure. But it just feels wrong to drink pumpkin beer in August, so I got this -

And had one of these (good, summery but not too light) -

And one of these (Delicious! Would make a great ice cream float.) -

Butternuts is in Upstate NY and this was the first time I tried it. Really good. There was an IPA and a pale ale, both waaaay too hoppy for my taste, but husband said they were both really good.

No IPA is too hoppy for me.

This is one of my favorites: http://21st-amendment.com/beer/brew-free-or-die-ipa

Had that the last time I was in San Francisco. They also have an awesome black IPA.

Try a Sink the Bismarck.. even I couldn't stomach it.

41% abv ipa. I think I paid $85 for an 11.2 oz bottle.

I'll bring some Mad Anthony's Brewery, dunno what kind yet but I'd guess a dark lager.

Speaking of New Belgium, my local bar now carries 1554 in bottles, which makes me happy.

The highest I'll go with a beer is DFH 120-minute. Once beer gets to about 11-12% ABV, the alcohol flavor overpowers the flavor of the beer.

DFH toned the 120min down last year, it used to be about 20%...

Highest ABV. beer I have ever had was Schorschbräu Schorschbock which is 43%. It was only slightly better than the Brewdog ones, and by better I mean just as terrible.

The google doc is locked. I'm not 100% sure what I'm going to bring yet other than some pumpkin varieties.

Have to say I've become "hooked" on Brewdog. Trying to get my hands on whatever I can... Just scored a 4pk of 5AM Saint for 7 bux in the clearance section tonight...

    Wonder why

But seriously, I have very little need for imports like Brewdog when the central PA market has so much amazing beer readily available, all of which didn't sit in a hot shipping container on a ship for a few months

If anyone has any other strange requests let me know. We just had a Total Wine here in Virginia Beach take over a Borders Bookstore and it contains many treasures from far and wide.

Not yet. I haven't been to H2O for the past 2 years and I'm not sure what the schedule and venue for the show is like nowadays. Anyone have any suggestions?

Local is Beach Brewing, St. George Brewing, O'Connor Brewing, and Williamsburg Alewerks. Look them up and let me know. Starr Hill is a little north of me. Can also get a lot of other things from down south and west if you have any requests.

Growlers are a possibility... All depends on how much room I have in the car...
